500m birds start the occasional excursion from Europe to Palestine
Around 500 million birds, including around 400 types of European birds, started their fall occasional movement from Europe to Africa going through Asia, especially Palestine and Jordan.
The birds who move from across Europe the entire way to Siberia, start their three-month venture on 15 August and stay in Jordan and Palestine until the spring relocation which starts on 15 February, when they head to Africa and stay until 15 April. They then, at that point, make the converse excursion back to Europe to mate, Imad Al-Atrash, the chief head of the Palestine Wildlife Society told the Al-Quds news site.
Al-Atrash added that movement is a worldwide peculiarity, noticing that around 500 million birds of 400 species come to Palestine each season.
As per Al-Atrash, there are presently 150 bird species in Palestine; some of them have consistently existed nearby, while others have as of late settled there like the white stork.
