The Islamic-Christian Committee in Support of Jerusalem and its Sanctuaries said yesterday that the “exceptional” infringement of Israeli pilgrims in Jerusalem makes ready for a strict conflict, Quds Press revealed.

In an official statement, the Islamic-Christian Committee said: “The consent given by the occupation specialists to the pilgrims to strike Al-Aqsa Mosque and play out their Talmudic customs disregards all redlines and sabotages the Jordanian guardianship.”

The Islamic-Christian Committee brought up that the Israeli occupation pointed, through these attacks, to change the legitimate and verifiable business as usual and force its arrangement to spatially and transiently segment the Muslim site.

“What occurred in Jerusalem on Sunday emphasizes the way that the city is confronting an open conflict against everything in the city to force Israeli sway forcibly,” the council said.

“The Israeli government has turned into a fundamentalist substance that is executing the plan of the pioneers and safeguarding them as they do their forceful assaults against Palestinians in Jerusalem and other Palestinian terrains,” it added.

As indicated by the public statement,

“The Flag March … doesn’t imply that Jerusalem is under Israeli power, yet demonstrates that it is usurped by a tactical occupation.”

In the interim, the Islamic-Christian Committee said unfortunately there is a shortfall of “genuine” Arab and Islamic reactions to the Israeli infringement, taking note that this gives the Israeli occupation the motivating force to do more hostility against the Palestinians and their sacred locales.

On Sunday a large number of traditional pilgrims partook in the Flag March, which saw them bringing the Israeli banner up in involved East Jerusalem, going after Palestinians’ shops and homes, and raging Al-Aqsa Mosque.
